DESCRIPTION:ACHTUNG: Aufgrund der Tourabsage von WAR ON WOMEN muss der Workshop leider ausfallen. \n\n\n\nDauer ca. 1\,5 hAnmeldung erforderlich!Der Workshop findet auf Englisch statt. \n\n\n\nThis training will show you how to interrupt harassment at live events in the moment – or everywhere else –\, no matter your hesitations or communication style. By the end of the workshop\, you’ll be able to use The Five D’s of bystander intervention to support someone who’s being harassed\, emphasize that harassment is not okay\, and demonstrate to people at events and in your life in general that they too have the power to make the experience at a live event and therefore the entire community safer. \n\n\n\nShawna Potter is an Intimacy Coordinator for film/TV and the author of Making Spaces Safer: A Guide to Giving Harassment the Boot Wherever You Work\, Play\, and Gather\, a practical guide based on her Safer Space Program. She also fronts the band War On Women. Through her music and her work\, Shawna has been empowering people to make their communities more fun and inclusive for over a decade. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTeilnahmebedingungen:Die Workshopreihe FLINTA* MUSIC LAB richtet sich ausschließlich an FLINTA*. Blending riot grrrl energy with progressive guitar riffs and outspoken lyrics\, War On Women have been touring and releasing albums for the last decade. After their widely acclaimed album Wonderful Hell on Bridge Nine Records\, the band is set to release their 4th full length studio album in 2025 and back on tour giving their live audiences an exclusive preview of some brand new songs from the upcoming release. \n\n\n\nWar On Women are a fan favorite\, featured on the main stages at festivals (such as The Fest\, Riot Fest\, Download Fest Australia\, Warped Tour) and touring with legendary acts like Bad Religion\, Jawbreaker\, Frank Turner\, Baroness\, Alkaline Trio.
