SUMMARY:Zine-Lesung zum Thema Kampfsport und Körpernormen
DESCRIPTION:TAKING SPACE/PRENDRE PLACE ist ein kollektiv gestaltetes Zine (Heft) zum Thema Kampfsport und Körpernormen. Entstanden ist das Projekt aus der Auseinandersetzung darüber\, wie sich Kampfsport und Feminismus miteinander verbinden lassen. Darüber\, wie wir uns als FLINTA*&Queers in von Wettbewerb dominierten Räumen behaupten und verbünden können. Am Anfang stand ein offener Aufruf\, Beiträge einzureichen\, um verschiedene Perspektiven auf Kampfsport in einem Heft zu sammeln. Einige davon werden wir lesen und freuen uns auf Austausch und Diskussion mit euch im Anschluss. \n\n\n\nTAKING SPACE/PRENDRE PLACE is a collectively designed zine on the topic of martial arts and body norms. The project was born out of discussions about how martial arts and feminism can be connected. About how we as WLINTA*&Queers can stand our ground and build allyship in spaces dominated by competition. We started with an open call for submissions to collect different perspectives on combat sports in a zine. DESCRIPTION:Over the last two decades\, the name AUSTIN LUCAS has become synonymous with emotionally impactful\, intellectual songwriting\, and unparalleled live performances. Consumed by an overdeveloped sense of wanderlust as a young person\, the critically-acclaimed Bloomington\, Indiana-bred artist spent their formative years in the driver’s seat of various beaten-up Ford Econolines. Burning through countless miles and living the world over\, Austin calls “home” everywhere from the American West Coast to the central states of the European continent.As a young person\, Austin worshipped a diverse mixture of Classic Rock\, Country\, Punk\, Psychedelic Folk\, and Mountain Music and has made a career by successfully fusing these disparate influences into something uniquely their own.
