The American punk rock band Some Kind Of Nightmare got their start in 2006 playing 90’s style street punk in small bars and house shows around the American Midwest. In 2009, they uprooted, and moved to California where they played around the American South West, and West Coast, for a few years until 2013. That’s when they decided to quit their jobs, leave their homes behind, and pursue a full time touring career.

They have two albums that they released on Asteroid M Records in Las Vegas, Nevada, and two independently released EP’s. Along with a few other independent releases from earlier years. In 2024, Some Kind of Nightmare are making plans to branch out into Canada, Mexico, and Europe to promote an upcoming full length album release on Asteroid M Records, and to reach out to a wider audience. The raw, fast, and heavy force that is Some Kind of Nightmare, continues to take on the world with their outstanding live performance, and powerful message, while gaining massive momentum and support along the way.
